Old School Gym class and Sports clinics

The physical education program aims to teach children the fundamentals of exercise and sport, with the hopes of instilling students with the knowledge necessary to laying a strong foundation for healthy habits in the coming years. Points of emphasis include sportsmanship, teamwork, and knowledge of exercise and varies sports. Some team sports we may practice or play include basketball, soccer, dodgeball, bowling, quidditch (yes, quidditch...), baseball, and capture the flag.
This class is about introducing the skills and fundamentals of a game while having a great time. Lots of short building blocks of skill work followed by fun, team oriented, skill games.
Wednesday 1:30-2:30
All the playground and gym class classics, this one is about getting the kids moving and having a great time. Building positive relationships through teamwork and having fun competing but never at the expense of fun.
Wednesday 12:15-1:15
This is class mix of exposure to the more organized sports and keeping the focus on fun games, functional movement, and getting up and having fun. Even kids who “don’t like gym class” can be reached with something as simple as kickball or some capture the flag!
Wednesday 11:00-12:00
Each gym class has a monthly program fee of $50.
