2026-27 School Year Enrollment Opens May 1st
Grades 9-12 (Ages 14+)
Asking a 14, 15, 16, 17- year old what they want to be when they grow up, is one of the best questions ever. They have often times moved away from lofty aspirations of president or rock star, although some hold onto to those dreams, and are more likely to offer an answer that reflects their interest and their passions. Teenagers are inspiring with their desires to make impactful change, to find what they love, and to pursue their passions. We want to help them and support them on this journey. Our classes are designed not only to help build a transcript, but to create thinkers who can compete at college, participate in NCAA athletics, who can launch businesses, or explore their vast options in ways we haven't even thought of.
We’re parents too, and we know that homeschooling teens—along with sports, clubs, friends, and the endless list of commitments—can feel like a lot. Drawing from our own experiences as busy moms with busy teens, we’ve designed a learning environment that truly meets families where they are.
Comprehensive Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Program
For teens who thrive on being with peers and want full days of classes and social interaction, we are offering our new COMPREHENSIVE three‑day program. Students can take 10 full‑year courses, enjoy a weekly academic support period, and spend abundant time learning and connecting with others.
Complete Tuesday/Thursday Program
For teens and families who prefer our traditional two‑day structure, we continue to offer our Complete Tuesday/Thursday Program, which includes 6 core subjects delivered through two days of structured classes and social time.
À La Carte Enrollment
For students who simply need to fill a specific transcript requirement or want to add a class that fits their schedule, Village Academy still welcomes à la carte enrollment. Students may register for any individual class or combination of classes that interests them.
Real‑Time Online Classes
For families choosing to stay home but still wanting to participate in our community, several classes are available live online. With a Zoom interface connecting in‑person students, remote learners, and the class tutor, students can experience the classroom environment from home.
Independent Study Options
This year, we are also offering select courses as Independent Studies. Students can work through a thoughtfully designed curriculum at their own pace while still receiving grades and teacher feedback.
Students taking non‑consecutive in‑person classes on the same day are welcome to stay between classes and use the time as a quiet, supervised study period.
Please note that Theater is NOT a component of our Comprehensive Program
