2025-26 School Year Enrollment Opens July 1
What shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors? This psychology course introduces students to the study of behavior and mental processes. Students will explore core areas including the history and development of psychological thought, biological bases of behavior, cognition and learning, human development, personality theory, psychological disorders, and social and cultural influences on behavior.
Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, understanding psychological research methods, and applying psychological concepts to everyday life. Through class discussions, hands-on activities, creative projects, and reflective assignments, students will gain a foundational understanding of psychology and how it informs human experience and decision-making.
Tuesdays 12:20-1:20
Students will need to have access to google classroom
A note taking system (paper/pen; computer; etc)
Pen/Pencils
3-Ring Binder with choice of notebook
Psychology is offered as part of our complete High school program OR as stand alone classes with a monthly cost of $50.
Material Fees will be $30 for the year per student.
